The cable allows for high-resolution image transmission with Ultra HD at up to 4K at 60 Hz (backward compatible) and a data rate of up to 18 Gbit/s. It is ideally suited for audio and video transmission between TVs or monitors and projectors, gaming consoles, or streaming receivers. Two ferrite cores prevent electromagnetic interference from high-frequency devices in the cable environment.
The integrated Ethernet channel connects any HDMI device to devices in a wired network without the need for an additional internet cable. The CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) function enables flexible operation with just one remote control, for example, to turn on multiple connected HDMI devices with a single button press. It supports 3D and HDR (High Dynamic Range) for excellent, high-contrast picture quality, as well as the HDCP 2.2 encryption system. It also supports advanced audio features like eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) and ARC (Audio Return Channel) for easy digital transmission from the TV to a soundbar or HiFi system.
