The diskAshur PRO2 USB 3.1 HDD is an ultra-secure, PIN-authenticated, hardware-encrypted portable hard drive. Using the device couldn't be easier: simply connect the integrated USB cable to a computer and enter a 7 to 15 digit PIN. Once the correct PIN is entered, all data on the hard drive is decrypted and accessible. To lock the drive, just disconnect it from the host computer, and all data stored on the device will be encrypted with military-grade 256-bit hardware encryption using AES-XTS (full disk encryption). One of the unique underlying security features of the diskAshur PRO2 is the dedicated hardware-based secure microprocessor (Common Criteria EAL4+ capable), which utilizes integrated physical protection mechanisms to guard against external tampering, bypass attacks, and fault injections. In the event of an attack, the device switches to a frozen lock status. Simply put: no access is possible without the PIN!

Self-destruction feature: You can pre-program the drive with your own unique self-destruction PIN. Immediately after entering this PIN, the encryption code, all PINs, and data will be erased, and a new encryption code will be created. Tamper-proof design that also makes tampering attempts visible. All components of the drive are fully coated with an extremely durable epoxy resin layer, which is virtually impossible to remove without causing irreversible damage to the components.
