Product details
IronKey Vault Privacy 50 is a high-quality USB stick that offers enterprise-level security standards. The VP50 series features FIPS 197 certified AES 256-bit hardware encryption in XTS mode, protection against BadUSB with digitally signed firmware, and defenses against brute-force password attacks. The flash drives in the Vault Privacy 50 series are also TAA compliant.
Administrators can enable user and one-time recovery passwords or reset user passwords to regain access to the data. The brute-force protection locks the user or one-time password after 10 consecutive incorrect attempts and encrypts the drive if the administrator password is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row.
To protect against potential malware from untrusted systems, both administrators and users can switch the USB stick to read-only mode; additionally, the built-in virtual keyboard protects passwords from keylogger and screenlogger malware.
