Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 80 External SSD 960 GB (IKVP80ES/960G)
The external SSD is Kingston's first innovative, operating system-independent, hardware-encrypted external SSD with a touchscreen that offers enhanced privacy. The VP80ES protects against brute-force attacks and BadUSB with digitally signed firmware. The protection against brute-force attacks automatically cryptodes the drive after 15 failed attempts of admin and user passwords.
The drive is FIPS 197 certified with XTS-AES-256-bit encryption, supported by a Common Criteria EAL5+ certified secure microprocessor, and is TAA compliant. With the user-friendly VP80ES, which unlocks as easily as a smartphone, files can be transferred via drag & drop while keeping the data secure.
The Vault Privacy 80ES features an intuitive color touchscreen and the option for multiple passwords (admin and user) in numeric PIN or passphrase mode.
