S/FTP LSZH patch cable, Cat.7 (connector: Cat.6A) (600MHz) in snagless design with gold-plated contacts. For Ethernet up to 10GBase-T.
The Cat. 7 cable material for operating frequencies up to 600MHz features an overall braided shield and foil individual shielding (S/FTP) and is designed for use in data centers, server rooms, rack-mounted network and switch cabinets, etc., for networks up to 10GBaseT. It has been manufactured and tested according to the guidelines of the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packaged in a polybag.
The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over very long periods. The snagless clip protection prevents the breaking or tearing of the latch clip on the connector. This allows the cables to be stored and handled without getting tangled in the clips.
Thanks to the halogen-free sheath material, designed as LSZH cable, this product is suitable for use in public spaces due to its low smoke emission and the complete elimination of toxic halogen emissions.
This product uses Cat.7 cable material. The Cat.7 standard originally defined the GG45 connectors, which were developed as an evolution of RJ45 but did not gain market acceptance. Meanwhile, the RJ45 connector has also been further developed to meet the requirements of Cat.7 without issues. However, it was never officially defined for Cat. 7. Therefore, the printing on the cable reads:
"Cat.6A S/FTP patch cords with 600MHz raw cable".
