Cat.6A cables are shielded with an overall braid and individual pair foil shielding (S/FTP). They meet the requirements for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBaseT) with an operating frequency of up to 500 MHz. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 standard. Each cable is individually packaged in a polybag.

The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extended periods. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector during installation and removal.
