The Z fc is inspired by the famous analog SLR camera Nikon FM2. Authentic details have been carefully recreated with great attention to detail: from the surface texture of the body to the classic Nikon logo engraved on the pentaprism viewfinder. Experience excellent sharpness, detail fidelity, and clarity both day and night—thanks to the Z mount and DX-format sensor with 20.9 megapixels and a wide ISO range from ISO 100 to 51,200. The Z fc is - after the Z 50 - a renewed Nikon commitment to the APS-C format as a constant size alongside 35mm. But the new camera is even more than that: it is a modern system camera designed with a love of detail in the look of classic SLR models of the FM/FE series, with which Nikon was able to celebrate success, especially in the 1980s...
If you like retro design and operation, the Z fc is a very good camera that achieves similar results to Fuji's X-E4 and X-T30. It is the first Nikon Z camera to be equipped with a monitor that folds out to the side.
