The SL-E TCP/IP communication module is an extension of the EcoCount SL electricity meter, allowing measurement data to be viewed on a web browser or transmitted to various control systems via Modbus TCP/IP or M-Bus. The IR (infrared) interface located on the left side of the SL-E communication module is used to connect to the EcoCount SL generation electricity meters. Through the IR interface, the module automatically recognizes the connected EcoCount SL type and is capable of transmitting all values determined by this measuring device. The SL-E TCP/IP communication module is equipped with two 100 MBit Ethernet interfaces, each with an RJ45 socket. The second Ethernet interface serves as a switch for connecting additional SL-E TCP/IP modules. The communication module autonomously negotiates the appropriate speed with the counterpart. Once the SL-E TCP/IP is connected to your network via an Ethernet cable, the module can be accessed and configured through a web browser. In its default state, the SL-E TCP/IP obtains its IP address via DHCP request. The assigned IP address can be displayed using an IP scanning tool based on the MAC address or directly in the router. All measurement values can be conveniently displayed and downloaded as CSV files via the web server.
