Hello NicoleImhof What connections do you have available on the motherboard ? Normally, most USB 3.x are led out to the "connector block" of the motherboard. The blue 20-pin blue connector is actually designed exactly for such a card reader or an additional slot bracket with USB 3.x connectors. New motherboards may also have a special USB 3.2 Gen2 connector for a bracket with USB-C connectors. What do you want to use the blue connector for at the moment ? If you could share the information here (maybe motherboard manufacturer and type) I might be able to help you better. Greetings Klaus
I have tried the card reader under Win 10, it does not work, is not recognised correctly, despite the supposedly up-to-date driver. Under Win 7 it works perfectly. I am now hoping for an update of Win 10 that solves the problem or new software from the manufacturer.
