Hello Abgar.tan I have answered your question in the ratings. Greetings
For around 40 francs, there is a pen in the scope of delivery for screen input.
I don't use Fingerprint, so I can't answer this question. I have also read about many problems, and in short: it boots from a stick and also starts after installation, but there is a lot to do before it runs well. A little more detail: After playing with the xorg configuration to disable the TouchPad display (so that it can no longer be used as a display), it ran without major problems (using a Linux Mint, which uses Ubuntu 18.04 as a base). I have now been on Ubuntu 20.04 for a week, and it seems to work relatively smoothly. I wouldn't recommend it to an absolute Linux newcomer, as it took a moment until everything ran smoothly, but basically it runs under Linux/Ubuntu (kernel >=5.4 recommended). I hope this helps a little in making a decision.
This item is on sale and no longer available from the supplier. Unfortunately, we therefore no longer receive any information about this item. However, we recommend that you ask such a question as a discussion, as experience has shown that more customers respond there than to a single question. https://www.galaxus.ch/de/community
So, I'll try to explain the touchpad in principle. You can basically switch between the touchscreen and a normal touchpad with a button. If the touchpad is in touch screen mode, it works like a normal monitor and you can basically do everything with it. If you now want to move the mouse, you can open an "app" in the touchpad taskbar to move the mouse with it. As long as this "app" is open, everything continues to run in the background. When you close this "app" again, everything returns to normal and you can continue working. I hope I was able to answer your question, if not, feel free to contact me.
The unit is actively cooled by a fan. The opening is directed towards the display or upwards. The ventilation is very quiet. Rarely or not at all active under low load (email, penbook, office).
The Asus ZenBook works well, is very fast and reliable. Only the screen is very reflective in bright light - unfortunately it is not anti-reflective. Kind regards
Yes, Screenpad is like a normal touchpad - I must confess, I only use it that way. With the Screenpad, I had too many unwanted command inputs. Pen input is OK, but not comparable with the iPad Pro, which I use exclusively for writing notes. However, this may also be due to OneNotes. With the iPad, I work with Notability and am thrilled. OneNotes doesn't convince me on the iPad either. If I remember correctly, the pen is included.
None. Even though I'm otherwise quite satisfied with the notebook, this is one disadvantage that I can't understand - one that I also commented on here very quickly after buying it. The USB-C port does not support video transmission. I searched hard for a solution in the spring, but didn't find one. You can only connect the external screen directly via the HDMI port. If this has changed, I would be grateful for the input as well.
Unfortunately, I don't use the pen at all, so I can't answer your question. But the ZenBook is very fast and meets all my requirements.
I have no idea what the difference is.
No the notebook does not have a SIM slot.
I don't know the ETH computer science programme in detail, but I assume that this will be enough. If it would require an extraordinary "box", that would certainly be mentioned in the study guide. Battery Life The Asus ZenBook Flip 14 offers excellent battery life, lasting 9 hours and 27 minutes on the Laptop Mag Battery Test, which involves continuous web surfing over Wi-Fi. That's longer than the 8:28 premium-notebook average and the 6:16 from the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen. However, both the HP Spectre x360 (9:45) and the Lenovo Yoga 920 (10:14) endured even longer.
As I see it, this USB-C interface is only designed for data transfer.
No, only USB-C 3.1 Gen 1.
Unfortunately, we currently have no information about when the item will be available again and when we will be able to deliver it. The supplier himself is still waiting for a subsequent delivery from the manufacturer and for this reason he had to set the delivery date to unknown. As soon as something changes in this regard, we will post it here. Sorry. We do not have this model on display in any of our shops, as other devices have been selected. A stylus is included in the delivery.
