They also have for Android on their website?
We only have one third party retailer offering these so far: Chipolo One White 4-Pack
A Chipolo transmits Bluetooth signals that are received by nearby smartphones. Without a smartphone nearby, the location cannot be updated as the Chipolo has neither GPS nor an internet connection. However, it works for months with a button cell. If you see the Chipolo in the app, you have set it up correctly. How often the location is updated depends on how many people with smartphones are in the vicinity. In a busy place like a railway station, the location is updated more frequently than in a remote mountain hut. If your cat is wearing the Chipolo, you will receive more location updates in the city than in the forest, where there are fewer smartphones around.

Yes, the Chipolo ONE comes with the battery included. The battery is a type CR2032, which is already inserted in the device when it is delivered.
Automatically generated from the .It's exactly the same. Until recently, Chipolo one was the only option for Android users, but it is now less useful. But I'm also not sure whether the Chipolo is even shared via a network of devices/apps without it, or only via your own. The Find my Service network from Google/Android is currently not yet very sophisticated and is actually only successful in heavily frequented places such as swimming pools, railway stations, etc. Even when travelling through Zurich by public transport, it is hardly recognised anywhere. This is either due to Google's default settings or because not so many devices have yet activated and set up the function.
Yes, I enrolled one of them on my pixel 8 without issues. The sharing is also working with a second phone.
Bluetooth with your own mobile works for at least 50m (day in the car and in a direct line). But if the cat walks a few kilometres to the next village (or takes off to Polynesia by plane), all it needs is another Android user nearby who has Bluetooth on, then the last known position of your cat will be displayed on the map. Since cats don't normally carry smartphones themselves, the cat won't receive a security alert that it's being "tracked" by your tag.
The Chipolo ONE only works with the Chipolo app. There are different Chipolos for different systems (including Spot and Point for Apple and Android). Unfortunately, you have to be careful, as the functions differ accordingly. In this case: Install the Chipolo app.
The answer is a classic "yes, but"... The One is primarily there so that you don't forget things or can find them quickly (e.g. if you haven't put your key where it always is). The app can alert you, for example, if you have forgotten your key somewhere (with One). It's up to you to decide whether it's very helpful when you realise on the street that you've left your front door key at home. At least you can see where the One was last near your mobile phone (or the app). Now for the case: of course, these (passive) tags all work the same way in principle. So you could already put the registered Chipolo in the case, then you would have to mark it as "lost" and then... Yes, what? Then, by chance, another Chipolo user would have to come by the suitcase to update the location. In principle, this is also the case with alternative tags, but it is a question of the size of the user group. And in this case, it is manageable. I doubt that this will work well... Chipolo therefore now has two alternatives on sale: Chipolo ONE Spot for the Apple system and Chipolo ONE Point for the Android system. Both use the standard of the corresponding platform for these tags and thus enlarge the user group considerably, which should work better for this purpose in my view.
There is a misunderstanding here. The Chipolo One contains a battery that, in my experience, lasts 1-2 years. However, the Chipolo does not determine its location and does not transmit it, but can only be "found" by mobile phones with the corresponding app. So you can't actively track the Chipolo's location. At best, you can mark the Chipolo as "lost", in which case the location would be reported back to the owner by every Chipolo app (if someone with the app is in the vicinity of the Chipolo).
Er, I'm not quite sure I understand the question: If a Chipolo is linked to the app, then the app (as mentioned in the question) will complain as soon as it no longer sees this Chipolo in the close range, depending on the settings. If, for example, you have one Chipolo on your key ring and another on your son (joke), then the app would report if you "forgot" your son or key when leaving the house. Which is the whole purpose of the Chipolos. How should the app know that you didn't want to take the things that are attached to the paired Chipolos with you if the alarm was activated accordingly? In this case, the alarm would be correct. Of course, it can happen that the app triggers a false alarm if the connection with the Chipolo in question does not work, even though it would be in the vicinity. But usually there is a reason, e.g. something is interfering with or shielding the Bluetooth signal. But this rarely happens with me. Hope this helps...
Basically, chipolo works with an app, so if you have android installed, it's no big deal and works great.
Yes you can. I stopped using mine because it never worked properly
Yes you can
The manufacturer says it is water resistant. This is the only information we have.
That's right, the app must always be open on the mobile phone - at least that's the case with my i-phone, otherwise it won't work.
So the location with arrow/distance only works with airtags. This is solved by ultra-wideband? which the chipolos don't have. you can simply have chipolos beep, which is much louder than airtags ;)
For "Find my", there's the Chipolo One Spot. And that, in turn, does not work with the Chipolo app. That's because of Apple and their extra sausages. https://chipolo.net/de/pages/chipolo-one-spot Chipolo ONE Spot (Apple Find My Network)
