This model has abandoned official Nvidia GSync certification because it is too expensive. It does, however, offer open-source FreeSync certification, which is also compatible with NVIDIA cards.

If you are referring to the unusual subpixel layout and the associated problems with Microsoft clear type, yes, these also affect this monitor. However, the perception is very individual. The thing can't do 4 but "only" 2x 2k uwqhd, but the oled technology gives you significantly better colours " comparison normal screen 1000:1 - 3000:1 oled 1,000,000:1 among other things extremely fast reaction speed of approx. 0.01 which is 1 for normal screens. MfG

Unfortunately, I can't answer that. But test or not, I am still fascinated every day by the colours (10bit at 100 Hz) - simply overwhelming. I wouldn't give the thing away again.

i can only tell you that this alienware is great for gaming. but for office use, you should get another one. gaming is great because of the vibrant colours, the rich black, the short response time. unsuitable for office use because of the reflective surface, the subpixel layout which makes texts rather difficult to read, because of potential burn-in.
