Yes it has ;)
Here you can find questions and answers https://www.denon.com/de-de/product/wireless-speakers/denon-home-150/DENONHOME150.html -> "Questions" at the bottom > Yes, you can use the Denon Home 150 as satellite speakers in a 5.1 system But then also https://www.denon.com/en-us/product/wireless-speakers/denon-home-150/137284-new.html?dwvar_137284-new_color=Black -> "Questions" at the bottom > Denon Home speakers cannot be used as wireless surround speakers with our AV receivers. A little confusing. There are several more QA pages at these links, it is also mentioned that the speakers (or HEOS in general) do not send multi-channel sound, maybe there is something more clarifying there
So if you want a device that is equipped with the latest and future video connections, then I recommend the Denon AVR-S660H. This has 6 HDMI inputs. In addition to 4K images in 120Hz, as the latest TV models and games consoles can do, the model can also play 8K in 60Hz. HDR10+ is also used for a nuanced presentation of the picture. The Denon AVR-S650H only uses HDR10, the 5 HDMI connections can only reproduce 4K in 60Hz.
All HEOS and Home Denon devices are multi-room capable. You simply use the HEOS app where you add the speakers you want to a Multi Room group. This is done simply by dragging and dropping in the app. You can also create a stereo pair with two HEOS or Home speakers using the HEOS app. This allows you to play music from any source connected to the Denon receiver in multiple rooms.
Hello Jeremykurmann, I am not an audio specialist. From the description of the problem, that the music from the PC runs "top" and there is no noise, I assume that you have everything right. From my own experience with laptops, I know that laptops like to pass on the internal clocks for the chips (beats) to the outside via audio or HDMI. What can you do: Maybe you can borrow another laptop, from a friend and do another test with it. That would definitely underline the thesis of the clock. My setup: I use SONOS with a SONOS AMP as music source for my Denon AVR-S660H and B&O passive speakers are on it.
