Hello I assume you mean MacOS Catalina (10.15). I can confirm that the new Fujitsu ScanSnap Home App now works with the final version of Catalina. (It did not work with the beta at first) I sold my good old 1300 especially for this reason and replaced it with the 1300i. I have been using Catalina since yesterday. So once again: Scansnap 1300i runs, 1300 does not. Hope this helps. Greetings Thomas
I don't know ExactScan and I haven't installed Mojave yet. I have been using the device with the supplied software under MacOS Sierra for some time now without any problems.
The scanner scans every conceivable format and also double-sided. I also use it for cash register receipts, which come in both tiny (sometimes exhausting) and abstruse formats (200:1).
The data sheet here says that a maximum of 80 pages per day may be scanned. Is that really the case?
Many printers and scanners are given a maximum recommended print or scan throughput. As far as I know, this is a guideline from the manufacturer for the customer for which average use the device is designed, so that the customer can find the most suitable device for him. If the customer's scan volume is higher than the recommended daily throughput, the device is either no longer economically usable due to its characteristics (too slow), shows excessive wear (shortening of the service life) or causes excessive follow-up costs for spare parts (in this case the feed rollers). If you regularly want to scan more than 80 pages per day, this scanner is "undersized" for you and the larger model (e.g. the ix500) would be better suited for you. Brother explains how this works with printers, for example, at the following link: http://www.brother.de/support/glossar/drucken/maximales-druckvolumen
