Govee's 'Intelligent LED Strip (RGB, 1000 cm, Indoor)' uses RGBIC technology, which allows multiple segments to be controlled simultaneously. This technology allows multiple colours to be shown on one LED strip simultaneously.
For a length of 10 metres (1000 cm), the LED strip can be controlled to show several colours on individual segments. However, exact specifications on the number of segments are not given directly, but Govee's RGBIC technology generally allows for precise segmented control, with the ability to adjust brightness, colours and effects on each individual segment via the Govee Home app.
To understand the differences between the "Govee LED Stripe Smart (RGB, 1000 cm, Indoor)" with the product ID "H619C3D1-OF-EU" and another Govee model, here are some key points:
## Differences Between Models
### Model H619C3D1-OF-EU (LED Stripe Smart, RGB, 1000 cm, Indoor)
- Length: 1000 cm (10 metres).
- LED Density: This model has a high LED density, with unspecified exact numbers but generally, Govee LED strips have around 2 LEDs per 6 centimetres.
- Colour: RGBIC (supports individual colour control for each LED).
- Control: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri.
- Power: 24V input voltage, maximum power per lamp 36 W.
### Model H611 (Assumed to be a different Govee LED Strip)
- Length: Typically varies, but for example, the H6141 model (which might be similar) is 5 metres long.
- LED Density: For the H6141 model, there are 3 LEDs every 10 centimetres.
- Colour: RGB (not necessarily RGBIC, which allows individual LED control).
- Control: Wi-Fi enabled, compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and possibly Siri (though not explicitly mentioned for all models).
- Power: For the H6141 model, it works with 12 volts at 1.5 amps or 18 watts.
### Key Differences
- LED Density: The H619C3D1-OF-EU model likely has a higher LED density due to its advanced RGBIC technology, though exact numbers are not specified. The H611 model, if similar to the H6141, has 3 LEDs every 10 centimetres.
- Color Control: The H619C3D1-OF-EU model supports RGBIC, allowing individual colour control for each LED, while the H611 model may only support standard RGB.
- Length and Power: The H619C3D1-OF-EU model is 1000 cm long with a maximum power of 36 W, whereas the H611 model could be shorter (e.g., 5 metres) and have lower power consumption (e.g., 18 watts for the H6141 model).
For precise details on the H611 model, it would be best to refer to the specific product page or manual, as the information available is more generic and based on similar models.
The Govee LED Stripe Smart (RGB, 1000 cm, indoor) can be attached to the wall using the adhesive tape supplied. The adhesive tape is already attached to the back of the LED strips so that you can simply attach them to the desired location.
Yes, you can use the Govee app to set the LED strips to switch on automatically at the same time every day of the week, for example at 06:00. The Govee app supports timer and scenario settings that allow you to set specific times and days for the LED strips to switch on and off.
Good day
Since there is an app for this that works great, I have connected the strips to a normal socket. You also have a controller. Unfortunately, this is connected in between (power supply unit-controller-LED strip).
You can cut them and put them back together, but you have to buy the connectors or solder them yourself.
I have 2X10M on my ceiling.
But not connected together but individually.
Since the voltage loss over 10m is so great, it is difficult to connect them together (experience with other manufacturers).
