...this works with any newer projector. Anyway via cable with an adapter (e.g. lighting to HDMI) or via proprietary wireless (e.g. apple air play or microsoft WIDI) but also other wireless standards that the projector's own operating system supports (e.g. miracast, screenmirroring, googe play, etc.).

The projector has Full HD resolution, i.e. 1920x1080 pixels. If you set the screen resolution of the Mac to this resolution, it should work.
