Are there adapters that can bring 5120 x1440 from Displayport (graphics card) to USB-C (at the monitor)? That would be 5k. Can the cable now do 5k (as in the title) or only 4k?

I use the cable myself between an iMac and a 120 Hz capable 49" Samsung monitor. The iMac only outputs 60 Hz and the cable works very well for this frame rate. I don't know whether the cable can also reproduce 120 Hz.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about it. I read in the description that this cable is suitable for: "MacBook, MacBook Pro, your iMac and iMac Pro". However, I have the HP Spectre X360 (Thunderbolt 3) and a Samsung curved monitor (Displayport 1.2). Is this the right cable for me (for non-Apple products)?
