Unfortunately, I don't know much about it. I read in the description that this cable is suitable for: "MacBook, MacBook Pro, your iMac and iMac Pro". However, I have the HP Spectre X360 (Thunderbolt 3) and a Samsung curved monitor (Displayport 1.2). Is this the right cable for me (for non-Apple products)?

See answer above. The cable is known to be capable of 5K resolution on the external monitor (PL2779QQ for me) for an iMAC and it works. According to the specification it is a universal cable TB3 to DP. The key question is the resolution of the monitor, which defines the properties of the cable.

In principle, this cable should be the right one. However, I do not want to give a misleading confirmation. I bought the cable for the connection between, on the one hand, a MacBookPro (Thunderbolt3) or an iMac (Thunderbolt3) and a Samsung 49" monitor with Display Port. As the monitor has not yet been delivered, I cannot yet confirm whether it works, although in principle this should be the case.
