Yes, but very rarely there can be faults that I cannot determine more precisely. Rarely, the plugged-in device is no longer accessible. Sometimes a simple "plug in again" helps, even more rarely I have to reboot. Maybe once every 6 months.

Moin - had the same issue with a Cisco SG300-28. It doesn't work with this adapter, you need a normal serial cable, not a null modem cable. Unfortunately, the Cisco switch has the wrong connector, which is why you need a gender changer. I really wanted to get it right, but throwing the thing in the rubbish and getting one with a USB console port would have been easier in any case ;-)
