Hi, it's the box. I have two of them in use. One constantly has no connection to the Internet. I reset it to the factory settings. It then worked for 2-3 days. Then the same thing happened again. With the 2nd box, I sometimes simply have no picture. Tested with 3-4 different devices. RMA returned to digitec with "everything works". 3-4 days later the same thing. Conclusion. The box is bad.

The CH+ and CH- buttons on the Strong Leap-S3 TV Box are swapped. The cause is probably a firmware or software problem or a regional key assignment. Solutions: Firmware update, reset box/remote control, re-learn buttons or use programmable universal remote control.

This streaming box runs on Android 12 with Google TV and allows you to install applications via the Google Play Store. To use Sunrise TV, you need to install the Sunrise TV application available from the Google Play Store, which is possible with this type of device. This means it is compatible with Sunrise TV as long as you install the relevant application.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Blue TV app does not support recording to a USB stick. The content is protected by copyright and can only be used within the app. If you want to watch a programme later, you can use the app's replay or recording function, depending on your subscription. However, direct storage on external devices is not intended.

Is the "MyTVOnline+" app running?

avatar
Galaxus

The "MyTVOnline+" app generally runs on Android-based streaming boxes with Google TV and access to the Google Play Store, as is the case with this device with Android 12. As the Leap-S3 Pro is equipped with Google TV (Android 12) and offers direct access to the Google Play Store, you can install and use the "MyTVOnline+" app if it is available in the Play Store. The remote control with number keys is also ideal for IPTV apps such as "MyTVOnline+".

You can connect an external hard drive or SSD to the streaming box via a USB port. The Strong Leap-S3 models usually offer a USB 2.0 port, which makes it possible to use external storage devices. Films in MKV format can be played, as Android 11 supports a variety of video formats.

The difference between the S3 and S3+ is mainly in the design and functionality improvements. The S3+ has an updated design and a remote control with a 10-key pad, which is useful for IPTV use. Both models share the same hardware and software specifications, such as the Amlogic S905Y4 SoC and Android 11. However, the S3+ does not offer any significant upgrades in terms of internal hardware or memory expansion options. Both models support 4K UHD, HDR, and Dolby Vision/Atmos. The S3+ does have a more advanced remote control with voice selection and faster access to streaming services.

Hello, My remote control works on the Leap S3 as well as on my television. My TV is only a monitor, the Leap gives me Zatto streaming o The remote should have infrared and bluetooth . What bothers me a lot is that the remote control doesn't have a keypad to choose a channel directly, I can only go forwards and backwards.

It all depends on your TV subscription (Swisscom? Sunrise? Salt? Yallo? Zatoo? ... etc). You need to install the corresponding application (the one from your subscription provider) just like on a phone.

The Blue TV app from Swisscom can be installed on the STRONG LEAP-S3 as this device offers access to the Google Play Store. Here you can download and install various apps, including the Blue TV app. The operating system of the STRONG LEAP-S3 is Android TV, specifically Android 11, and it is certified by Google.

Yes, the app runs with it. However, I sometimes had connection problems. But I'm not sure whether it's due to our poor connection or the app itself.
