You may not be able to log in with the device via a "captive portal" (as used by public hotspots). Since, from my own experience, a campsite WLAN is usually hopelessly overloaded anyway, I recommend a mobile phone subscription with a flat rate to set up a personal hot spot.

I would recommend another box, one with Android TV (not Android OS). There are several very good solutions, e.g. Google Chromecast with Google TV or an Nvidia Shield. Teleboy runs smoothly with Android TV boxes and the devices with Android TV usually have certification for 4K UHD, which means that UHD content such as Disney+ or Netflix can be displayed in full resolution.
A Google Chromecast with Google TV only costs around 80 francs, the Nvidia Shield would be a little more expensive, but offers better hardware. Another good solution would be the Mi Box S, which also runs perfectly with Teleboy. I have already used all three of these systems. The Nvidia Shield Pro is certainly the best model with the best technology, but the others all work as well (the Mi Box S couldn't do Dolby Vision, which the other models support).

I had to reset it and load the apps from a USB key. Not easy and it worked only after 2 or 3 factory reset. Do not update the OS from the producer. It will block all install options

It works like SmartIPTV app from Android. But instead of using the MAC address it uses an URL from the provider.

You can't download apps on it but it has an iptv function that you can subscribe to and then you have all the channels.
