Yes, it is possible to change the input source without the app, both on the remote control and on the device itself. - The WiiM Pro Plus is equipped with a remote control that contains a "Source" button. With this button you can switch between the different input sources such as Bluetooth, Chromecast, analogue input (LINE IN) or digital input (SPDIF IN). - In addition, you can also change the input source directly on the device itself by using the corresponding buttons on the surface of the WiiM Pro Plus. The controls on the device allow you to switch between the different sources.
Automatically generated from the .The Wiim Home app that I've installed on my Android phone allows me to view the NAS and reproduce audio files that are stored there. Now there's the question of the quality of the DAC in the Wiim Pro, but there's no doubt that it will be much better than a DAC from 2013.
I recommend this one: https://dynaudio.com/home-audio/emit/emit-30
Hello there, 1.) Yes you can switch off the wireless, WIFI connection and you can connect your device via Ethernet. Personaly I prefer this method too. Altough your phone or Ipad etc going to connect to your router via wireless, and that is the way to control your WiiM Pro Plus by the App. ( The Wiim Pro Plus and your phone must be on the same network ) 2.) The remote is working via Bluetooth, which is excellent, so you can not turn off the Bluetooth totally, but that is does not hurt. That is a very good streamer, but of course there are much better ones for much more than x times the price.
Hello, I'm sorry to hear that here are some steps you can try to solve the problem with your wiim pro plus remote control: 1. Restart the device: switch the wiim pro plus device off and on again. 2. Check the connections: make sure all the connections are in place, including the power and audio cables. Resync the remote control: remove the batteries from the remote control, then press the SYNC button located under the batteries. Wait for the remote control to flash, then put the batteries back in. 4. Update the firmware: if an update is available, try downloading and installing it to see if it solves the problem. 5. Contact support: if none of these steps work it may be worth contacting wiim technical support for further assistance. I hope this helps you solve the problem. Have a good Sunday anyway.
I am totally happy with my pro plus. It took some time getting the remote accepted. But now all OK.
