The Tamron 17–70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD is a fast standard zoom lens for mirrorless Nikon Z cameras with an APS-C sensor. The versatile focal length range of 17 to 70 mm is ideal for landscapes, travel, street photography, portraits and everyday shooting situations. The constant maximum aperture of F/2.8 allows for fast shutter speeds in low light and ensures attractive subject isolation across the entire zoom range. The built-in VC image stabiliser reduces camera shake during handheld shooting and also supports smooth video recording. Autofocus is handled by the fast, precise and exceptionally quiet RXD stepper motor. Reduced focus breathing ensures more natural image transitions when refocusing, making the lens a versatile solution for both stills and video. With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.19 m at the wide-angle end, subjects can be captured from very close range. Firmware updates can be carried out via the Tamron Lens Utility.
