The Jinbei Umbrella Deep Softbox is a softbox that provides soft light for fashion, beauty, glamour, and portrait photography. Unlike other softboxes, it produces more direct light with higher contrast and sharper defined shadows on the subject. You can vary the hardness of the light, meaning the hardness of the shadows on your subject, by shifting the light source. If you push your flash further into the softbox, the beam angle of the reflected light becomes more focused and narrower, resulting in harder shadows. Conversely, if you pull the flash further out of the softbox, the beam angle of the light increases, and the shadows become softer.
