The AX130 is an HDMI-ARC audio adapter that allows simultaneous audio output via Toslink, RCA, and 3.5mm jack, making it ideal for modern TVs without traditional audio outputs. It connects directly to the TV via HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC and flexibly routes the sound to soundbars, speakers, or headphones. For stereo signals, all three audio outputs can be used in parallel. A switch on the device allows toggling between Stereo (2.0) and Dolby Digital (5.1), provided the TV supports it. It supports video resolutions up to 4K – also known as Ultra HD or UHD. Through EDID, the connected devices communicate their capabilities, including supported video resolution and audio format. When operating two devices with different resolutions, the smallest commonly supported mode is usually selected. With the EDID switch, you can manually set the mode. HDR and Dolby Vision are supported in Copy-EDID and Mixed-EDID modes. HDMI-CEC communication is possible between the source and Display 1. ARC is not supported. It features a robust metal housing with an external power supply (USB connection).

Volume control is also done on the sound system, not on the TV or player.

The VAX01202 is a versatile audio extractor that offers two operating modes. In eARC audio extractor mode, it transmits audio signals from the TV to a sound system via HDMI. It supports all modern audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD, while video formats and gaming continue to function seamlessly, just like a direct HDMI connection. In HDMI audio splitter mode, the VAX01202 splits the signal from an HDMI source, allowing the sound system to receive only the audio signal (with a black screen) while the TV gets the full video signal.
