CAT 7 600 - 1,000 MHz S/FTP F or FA 10GBASE-T
CAT 8 1,600 - 2,000 MHz S/FTP G 40GBASE-T and 100GBASE-T
ATTENTION : Bandwidth is not transmission frequency, because double lines (partly 4-fold) and multi-level pulse amplitude modulation are used.
E.G. : CAT 7 makes 10 GB

in CAT 8 (as in the others) there are subcategories CAT 8.1 and CAT 8.2. They differ mainly in the connector. CAT 8.1. has RJ45.
