Hello Galaxus, why does galaxus.ch only offer the overpriced Apple Care package for €200, without extending the warranty period, while galaxus.de offers a 5-year warranty extension for €158.00? It can't be the price difference between the countries, as iPhones are generally cheaper in Switzerland ... Thanks for an answer.

Hello,
The Apple Care package on galaxus.ch includes the warranty extension with Apple (it's in the GTC) and this is an offer from Apple, not from us. AppleCare+ is an insurance and also applies to unintentional damage, a pure warranty extension (the one on galaxus.de) does NOT. These are two completely different things, a comprehensive insurance (AppleCare+) and a warranty extension (= only protects against warranty claims). We do not yet sell AppleCare+ on galaxus.de.
