Hello, what tests are carried out on a product sold second-hand? What explains the differences in selling prices of "Used" appliances? Thank you

Hi Tofu, usually a generic test is ran on these products to ensure there are not faults. in the event that the device fails a diagnostic test, the specific failing part is replaced, hence the device is re-classified as "refurbished" or "used". The only reason I can imagine why the price is still lower than a new device is only because no one can predict what next will go wrong after a long or short usage of the device. I am also a client/customer like yourself so my answer is just to help you understand, but definitely not the ultimate authority in this arena. I hope this helps a bit. Always go for a completely new device if you can afford it.
