Question about HTC Vive Pro 2

I have a Medion X25 notebook and would now like to buy the HTC Vive Pro 2 with it. The notebook has an HDMI and a USB-C port, but no (mini) display port. From my point of view, however, it should work to connect the mini-DP of the HTC Link Box to the USB-C port on the notebook with the appropriate cable/adapter. Apparently (...) the USB-C port on this notebook is on the graphics card. So everything should work - right?

The Linkbox needs power from a socket, a USB 3.0 with SS and then DP. And according to the Vive, this then only works on mini-DP, not USB-C.

And I doubt anyway that your laptop can handle VR.
