I have a problem. When I want to install the Lan drivers for the mainboard, I always get the message: "Drivers cannot be installed. There are no Intel(R) adapters on this computer". I have already searched the internet for solutions but nothing has helped. What should I do?

@Puma4789:
There is probably no defect in the mainboard. Other manufacturers who sell AMD 4 X470 mainboards also use Intel(R) Network Connections software version 23.5.0.0.

Several possibilities:
a) Download the Europe version (it could happen that you accidentally download the America version).
b) Possibly download the driver from the "MSI website" (latest version (2019-03-06) and larger folder (245.71 MB))
c) Consider other approaches to find the appropriate driver.
d) Support Intel according to the "Read Me" section Customer Support or Support from Gigabyte.
e) Possibly (rather unlikely) a Realtek adapter (??) was installed without updating Gigabyte's website (Realtek adapter e.g. at "MSI X470 Gaming Plus (AM4, AMD X470, ATX)").
If e-mail: Describe the PC composition in as much detail as possible (mainboard, processor, RAM kit and Windows 10 64-bit VERSION) so that the company employee has sufficient information and does not have to ask any questions.

"MSI website"

"Read Me"

This release includes software and drivers for Intel(R) adapters and integrated network connections.

"MSI X470 Gaming Plus (AM4, AMD X470, ATX)"

P. S.:
Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING (rev. 1.0) has Intel(R) Network Connections software version 23.5 (181.64 MB) as of 2019/02/21.

I have exactly the same problem. The driver did not recognise any network adapter. Nothing was visible on the device manager either.

According to the English manual (page 33: 2-6 Peripherals), you should be able to see the network adapter and its MAC address. In my case, this information was not visible.

So, I referred to the right of return and took the goods to digitec. Unfortunately, I have not yet received a credit note.

If I were you, I would do the same.

It now seems to me that there is a production error.

Under network adapters: which component is listed?
