I would like to place the monitor in a place where the maximum height is 56 cm. Is it possible to move the display far down? The (maximum) height is given as 63.6cm, but I assume that this is the height when the display is positioned at the top, isn't it?

Yes, your assumption is correct.
The monitor is just under 47cm high in the lowest position (just under 49 with the webcam extended).

Interesting question, it's the same for me but I have a little more cm open on the seat. how high is the monitor holder, isn't it 63.6cm high (the stand that comes with it)?
