Can a second monitor (27") be connected to the 32" Philipps monitor (as a docking station) and the image\data transfer from both to the laptop via one USB-C? I don't know the graphics settings / cards, but the idea would be that several employees with different laptops can work at the same workstation.

The 32" has no monitor output. But you could connect the 27" to the HDMI/DP output of the laptop. Then you would just have to reconnect 2 cables.

How does this model differ from the Philips 329P1H/00? The colours (colour space coverage) seem to be better on the other one. Does a better colour space make that much difference? I use the settings out of the box anyway. The Philips 329P9H/00 (this model) has the better design from my point of view. Does anyone know both models? I can't decide which one to take.

I would recommend this one: 329P1H. It has the better newer DisplayPort 1.4 connector, the other model only has DisplayPort 1.2.

Do I have to go into a menu to switch between two different sources (e.g. PC and laptop), or can I switch the source directly via a button (WITHOUT having to go into a menu)? I ask this because I have to switch between my two PCs a lot.... Unfortunately, this is not clear to me from the specifications. Thanks in advance for the answer!

I'm being cautious here - unfortunately I haven't yet found a way to change the signal source (USB-C, HDMI1, HDM2,...) directly, i.e. without going via the settings menu.

If I use the pivot function, i.e. turn the display upright, is this automatically recognised and changed, or do I have to change this in the settings each time?

I could not find any more detailed information on this even on the manufacturer's website. Maybe someone who has bought the article and can write a personal report on their experience will get in touch. I am sorry.

I would like to place the monitor in a place where the maximum height is 56 cm. Is it possible to move the display far down? The (maximum) height is given as 63.6cm, but I assume that this is the height when the display is positioned at the top, isn't it?

Hello, Yes, your assumption is correct. The monitor is just under 47cm high in the lowest position (just under 49 with the webcam extended).

I now have a 4K Dell monitor in 27 inch, but I'm looking for something bigger, for me it's important to have a good colour picture and 4K, can you recommend it or something more expensive?

Hoi Topflash, I can recommend the monitor. The picture seems homogeneous and colourful. The built-in loudspeaker is only moderately good and can be used for Skype at most.

Does anyone here manage to run the full resolution of the device (4K) at full refresh rate (60Hz) via USB-C port? When I activate the USB 2.0 mode on the monitor, the USB-C port stupidly also runs on USB 2.0, which means no more power and only 640x480...

Look at page 11 in the instructions: https://www.download.p4c.philips.com/files... "The USB hub default setting of the USB-C input of this monitor is "USB 2.0". The resolution supported by USB 2.0 resolution is 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. When switching to USB 3.1, the supported resolution is 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz"
