I would like to use the watch for hiking. I use the Swisstopo app. Can I make a gpx file of the routes and export them to the watch?

The Google Pixel Watch 4 does not support direct export of GPX files from the Swisstopo app. However, you can plan routes in the Swisstopo app and save them on your smartphone. The smartwatch uses Google Maps for navigation, but direct transfer of GPX files is not provided. You could save the routes in Google Maps and call them up on the smartwatch to track them.
