Yes, this is an LTE model (4G). The emergency SOS function is available on the smartwatch and works independently of the plan, you can activate it in the settings. I am not completely sure about the compatibility with the Wingo plan for LTE as the data does not clearly cover this. Please check our Community for more information.

Officially, only Swisscom supports the Google Pixel Watch 4 (source: https://support.google.com/googlepixe...). However, other users report that there is a way to use the watch with other plans. Apparently, you have to get to a certain screen with a SIM from a recognised supplier (in our case Swisscom) and can then scan the eSIM code of the actual plan. These are the instructions: https://www.reddit.com/r... - in our case, replace step 1 with "Insert a SIM card from Swisscom." Better prepaid, as it's cheaper - or a SIM from a friend. So far, this has only been confirmed with older Pixel Watch models and not with Galaxus Mobile. That's why I'm here. Personally, I don't yet know whether I'll give the whole thing a try.

Good morning! The main difference between the WiFi and LTE models is the independent cellular connectivity: LTE allows calls, streaming and apps without a phone or WiFi nearby, while WiFi requires a phone nearby or a WiFi network. Other relevant differences: - LTE includes hardware for satellite SOS (only on LTE, even without an active subscription), not available on WiFi. - Price: LTE costs about $100 more. - No difference in battery, display, processor or fitness/health functions.

The Google Pixel Watch 4 does not support direct export of GPX files from the Swisstopo app. However, you can plan routes in the Swisstopo app and save them on your smartphone. The smartwatch uses Google Maps for navigation, but direct transfer of GPX files is not provided. You could save the routes in Google Maps and call them up on the smartwatch to track them.
