I don't think you're the only one frustrated, and I think Digitec's communication is very poor. I recommend that you order directly from Apple and, if necessary, leave both orders open until you have received a device. For me personally, it was the first and last time I pre-ordered a new product from Digitec🤷🏼♂️.

You don't have to wait too long, because Digitec has the principle:
First In, First Out.
So they deliver exactly in the order sequence and if there were many pre-orders, it may be that too few units were delivered at the beginning, i.e. Digitec received 500 units and you have only placed the 600th pre-order.
