Designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, the Bark collection - translated from English as "bark" - was introduced in 2015 with the eponymous table centerpiece. The creators drew inspiration from their home, Casa Boucquillon: a place of experimentation, meditation, and work, where the symbiosis with nature defines life. The perforation of the "Bark" series resembles the bark of the trees surrounding the house. The result is a distinctly poetic collection, where each individual object, in its form or function, engages in a constant and harmonious dialogue with nature.
