Scandinavian design in a modern way for the dining room or the kitchen: Simon Legald designs innovative dining room furniture of unusual construction for the Danish manufacturer Normann Copenhagen. Despite the combination of different materials, the chair, armchair and table appear to be made of one piece: the legs made of oak round rods merge almost seamlessly into the seat shell or table top, they are, so to speak, flush with the cast plastic or aluminium sleeves. The different material thicknesses achieved in this process give them stability or flexibility in exactly those places where they are needed from an ergonomic point of view.
