Quiet sweep movement
A sweep movement is nearly silent, as the second hand and minute hand move almost imperceptibly due to a finer gear ratio. With minimal mechanical forces acting on the hands, the clock noise is significantly reduced. It can only be heard when you place your ear close to the movement.
