Available from summer 2017. With a springform pan, you can release the side wall with the help of a clamping lever: The ring opens and you can remove and reattach the base of the mould. With a flat base, cakes and cake bases are easy to make in the springform pan. The base with a central chimney replaces a bundt cake tin for pound cakes and bundt cakes. Unlike other baking tins, the finished cake is not tipped out of the springform pan. Instead, you release the clamping lever - the cake releases itself thanks to the non-stick coating - and lift the ring away. As the lower support plate is slightly larger than the ring, springform pans are absolutely leak-proof. They are available in different sizes and shapes, e.g. round, square or heart-shaped.
