My device says "Made in Romania". However, I bought it two or three years ago and don't know whether this is still the case today. Hope this helps. I understand your question. For me, the country of production also plays a big role.

"May be equipped with a power adapter: Yes". This means "A power adapter may be required to use this product. If this is the case, a suitable adapter is included in the delivery." So if it has an EU plug, it should come with an adapter for Switzerland. If not, contact the customer service directly and they will send you an adapter :-)
