Good evening, I don't use it, but when the smoke from the neighbours comes into a room (they smoke joints and it stinks), the Philips takes care of making it disappear in a few minutes. Now I don't know if it works as well in a large room of 50m2 where several people have smoked? probably in one night the odours will have disappeared, but I haven't tested it in this context.

I haven't found any information on WLAN for the product (in the manual / specs). But according to user comments, the device should effectively send a WLAN signal that is always active and cannot be switched off. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/ProductRating/gut-aber-hoher-stromverbrauch-wlan-immer-an-filterkosten-etc-539707

How often do I have to change the filters?

As a rule, the dust filter must be dusted every 2 weeks. This varies greatly for the carbon filter, and the manufacturer does not specify an exact period. According to customer feedback, this can already be the case after 8-10 weeks.

We were not very happy with the AC3256/10, the fan also vibrated. We now have a Philips 5000 Series AC5659/10, which works very well and runs quietly. The air is filtered effectively, no doubt about it, which you can see in the 3 filters. The sensor, especially on the Philips 5000 also shows how the dust situation is and switches the unit faster and slower. The office is probably quite large with 15-25 people, so I would say it's best to place the unit near your workplace :-) In conclusion, I would say that the air is definitely better.

Hello, I also changed both filters 3 days ago and have not noticed any strange smells so far, but I have another model from Phiilips and the activated charcoal filter smells very special, I can only assume that it is the activated charcoal filter that smells a bit at the beginning. Unfortunately I can't help you much with my statement. All the best

I am also not sure about this but, as I could understand the 2000 series is newer a bit but smaller and can filter the air in a bit smaller rooms than the 3000 series. Also the 2000 can be controlled over your phone. I was not happy with this product for me from the beginning on showed me that the air in my house it absolutely clean even with open windows during the highest pollen alert period. After a week of working really did not feel any difference when my windows were closed. At the end the devices showed me an error and I could never turn it on anymore , so I took it back to the shop.
