1. Alessi MG32

With the power of a design that masterfully combines different influences - from Art Deco to Pop Art - the 9093 kettle has not only survived four decades, but has also defined itself time and again in innovative designs. To mark its 40th anniversary, the 9093 kettle is now presented in an impressive version with temperature control - a refinement that makes the kettle the ideal choice for all moments when boiling water would be too hot and precise temperatures are required.

2. Alessi 9093 BB

The 9093 bird-shaped kettle 9093 is one of the best-selling Alessi items worldwide. The design of this kettle, created by Michael Graves in 1985, combines cultivated influences from European art, American pop culture, and references from pre-Columbian civilizations. This very personal visual language of Graves is the reason for the kettle's exceptional success since its production. Elegant yet fun and playful: when the water boils, the bird sings, inevitably bringing a smile.

Unwavering in his pursuit, Michael Graves has succeeded in shaping the implementation according to his visual code, where influences from Art Nouveau, Pop Art, and the language of comics blend together.

7. Alessi Virgil Abloh

Alessi kettle, Virgil Abloh Iconic melting pot The kettle designed by Michael Graves was selected by Virgil Abloh for a re-design operation and reborn as a new icon. Different cultural aspects collide in the 3909 kettle: the phenomenon of basketball and its multicultural symbolism, which is an integral part of Abloh's personal history, meets the world of design with its codified references. This iconographic collision reveals unexpected affinities between the cultural spheres at work here - from the postmodernism of Michael Graves to the eclectic approach of Virgil Abloh - and speaks to the audience in an explicitly transversal way. What Virgil Abloh Securities offers us is far more than a simple reinterpretation, but a new, surprising object that absorbs and elaborates its references and multiplies them to the umpteenth power.

8. Alessi BULBUL kettle

Bulbul is an innovative kettle inspired by the rounded shape of a curling stone. When you slide the device back and forth on your kitchen countertop, it feels as if you are playfully moving a curling stone. In Bulbul, we see Achille Castiglioni's extraordinary ability to translate the properties and functions of objects from completely different domains into a new project. It’s a play of transfers that has often created the famous ironic dimension of many of his works.

Material: Kettle made of 18/10 stainless steel with a shiny polished finish. With a handle and whistle made of black PA. Thanks to the magnetic steel base, this kettle is also suitable for induction cooktops.

9. Alessi Tea Rex

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Alessi's famous kettle, designer Michael Graves presents a reinterpretation of the design classic. Instead of the unmistakable bird, the anniversary edition features a fascinating, supernatural reptile at the spout. This prehistoric, mythological, and futuristic figure takes the form of a dragon and shines in trendy rose gold. The little dragon starts to whistle as soon as the water boils. Additionally, a detail that commemorates the birthday of the beloved stainless steel kettle is the inscription "Tea Rex 9093 30th anniversary" on the lid, which clearly indicates what makes this special model, Tea Rex, unique.

10. Alessi 9091fm

This classic is one of the most famous works by designer Richard Sapper for Alessi. Characteristic of this stainless steel kettle is the melodic brass whistle. Inspired by the sounds of cargo ships on the Rhine, two tuning pipes in "e" and "b" are integrated into the brass whistle. These small pipes are typically used for tuning musical instruments and are exclusively crafted for Alessi by a craftsman in the Black Forest. To pour, the whistle does not need to be removed as with traditional kettles: a pull on the lever below the heat-insulating handle is enough to lift the whistle.
