Product details
The Bresser Zoomoculair Deluxe is a high-quality zoom eyepiece for telescopes with a versatile focal length range of 8 mm to 24 mm and continuous adjustment. This eyepiece features an advanced optical design with 9 lenses in 6 groups, providing excellent field correction and sharp image quality throughout the entire zoom range. With a generous eye relief of 20 mm and an adjustable rubber eyecup, it allows for comfortable viewing even during extended sessions and is particularly suitable for eyeglass wearers. The optical system offers a wide field of view ranging from 40 to 62 degrees, depending on the focal length setting. All lens surfaces are fully multi-coated to ensure maximum light transmission and minimize reflections, resulting in high contrast and brightness. Made from black anodized aluminum, the eyepiece measures 102 mm in length with a diameter of 52 mm and weighs 315 g, providing durable performance for regular telescope use. The precise zoom mechanism features a rubberized adjustment ring for secure handling, while white laser engraving indicates the current focal length setting even in low light conditions. Compatible with standard 1.25-inch (31.7 mm) telescope connections, this zoom eyepiece eliminates the need to carry multiple individual eyepieces, making it ideal for spontaneous astronomical observations. The optical design maintains consistent performance across the entire zoom range, delivering magnification factors of approximately 15x to 125x when used with common telescope focal lengths between 350 mm and 1000 mm. The eyepiece includes filter threads (M28 x 0.6 mm) for standard 1.25-inch filters and comes with protective dust caps for both the eyepiece and the barrel end.
