Product details
Celestron's legendary SkyMaster binoculars receive an upgrade with ED lenses for superior images that are virtually free of chromatic aberration, featuring true-to-life colors, increased resolution, and enhanced contrast. The great 80mm objective lenses provide excellent light-gathering power, making them perfect for astronomy. The threaded eyepieces are suitable for all standard 1.25" astronomy eyepiece filters to enhance detail or reduce the effects of light pollution. BaK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics with XLT coating increase light transmission in the optical path for brighter, more detailed images. The widely spaced objective lenses of the Porro prism optics offer improved 3-D viewing. They are eyeglass-friendly with generous eye relief and padded, rotating eyecups. The durable, rubber-armored housing features improved ergonomics for comfortable use in the field and is tripod-compatible for extended viewing sessions.
