The Desert, tested in numerous Arctic dives, impresses not only with its excellent craftsmanship, welded seams, and fit but also with its 4 mm thick pre-compressed neoprene, whose seams are additionally protected by "Liquid-Seal" seals. This neoprene provides outstanding insulation at depth, as it is no longer compressed and requires little ballast. Therefore, it is often not necessary to wear thick undersuits, as is the case with trilaminate suits. This premium neoprene is complemented by a highly flexible Ultraspan© outer coating, which features a smooth surface for excellent hydrodynamics. The cuffs are made of smooth, 3.5 mm thick neoprene on the inside to improve sealing, and Ultraspan on the outside to enhance elasticity. The collar is made from the same materials but uses 2.5 mm thick neoprene for added comfort. The shoulder, neck, and knee lines are reinforced with a special abrasion-resistant X-Diamond Pad lining. The suit also includes a practical multi-purpose pocket on the right leg and a comfortable hood.
