The ability to wrap your entire palm around one of the columns while keeping your index finger on the focus wheel provides unique comfort and allows you to operate the binoculars with just one hand. The eyepieces are thin, but still have thick enough textured rubber armor for maximum grip. The metal roll-up eyelids are removable, so they can be easily cleaned or replaced as needed by the user.
