The Schwalbe Air Plus bicycle tube retains air longer thanks to its thicker wall. It requires less frequent inflation and offers above-average puncture protection. The tube features a 40 mm SV valve, also known as French (FV), Presta, racing, and Sclaverand valve. It weighs approximately 270 grams.

The bicycle tube is made from 100% recyclable rubber and is suitable for the following tire sizes:

The ETRTO measurement consists of two numbers, for example, 40-622. The first number, 40, is the width of the tire in millimeters. The second number, 622, indicates the inner diameter of the bicycle tire in millimeters.

The inch size consists of 2 or 3 numbers. The first number is the diameter of the tire in inches. The second number is the height of the tire, and the third number is the width of the tire. The German measurement system also uses inches, but there the second number is the width and the third is the height.

The French size consists of two numbers plus a letter, for example: 700 x 38C. The number 700 indicates the outer diameter in millimeters. The second number, 38, indicates the tire width in millimeters. The letter (C) stands for the rim size. The tire size is often indicated on the sidewall of the tire itself.
