In addition to tires and tubes, the rim tape is the third crucial factor for puncture safety. It reliably protects the tube from mechanical damage, such as from spoke heads or fine metal edges inside the rim. At the same time, the rim tape neatly covers the spoke holes, preventing the tube from being pushed into the openings. This significantly reduces the risk of punctures and ensures greater safety on every ride.
