Product details

This is a new design developed by SRAM that combines all the advantages of BB30 and Press-Fit bottom brackets in a fantastic package. This bottom bracket is designed for 30 mm crank shafts. The key difference with PressFit 30 lies in how the bearings are fitted into the frame. They are housed in nylon cups that are pressed into the bottom bracket shell of the frame. The PressFit 30 features a pre-installed seal in the cups to further extend bearing life. The frame's bottom bracket must have an inner diameter of 46 mm to use this system. PressFit 30 for road bikes requires a 68 mm wide shell, while PressFit 30 for mountain bikes requires a 73 mm wide shell.

Benefits: immense weight savings, low Q-factor, more ankle clearance, a sturdier bearing, a stiffer and firmer crank, and easier installation. Space for larger diameter stanchions provides increased stiffness.

  • Expanded Pressfit 30 bottom bracket to cover a wider range
  • Plastic bearing cups
  • Compatible with BB30, Pressfit 30 68/73 mm, and BB386
  • Shell width: 68-92 mm
  • Shell diameter: 46 mm.
