The Wahoo KICKR CORE is compatible with 8-, 9-, 10- and 11-speed cassettes, but not directly with 12-speed cassettes without additional adjustments.

To mount a 12-speed cassette, you need a special freewheel adapter, as the KICKR CORE is not compatible with SRAM 12-speed cassettes as standard. You would need to purchase a Shimano/SRAM freehub adapter that enables compatibility with 12-speed cassettes.

Regarding thru axles: The KICKR CORE is already equipped with the necessary adapters for 130/135mm Quick Release and 12x142 and 12x148 Thru Axle, so you do not normally need to purchase these separately.
